Mi nombre es Valentina Martínez Sánchez, en el año 2017 me gradué del Colegio Colombo Americano; en esta institución
estuve desde que inicié mis primeros estudios. Me defino como una persona alegre, optimista y dedicada pues siempre
he recalcado el hecho de que para que se cumplan las metas que me he propuesto y en concordancia de lo que deseo
para mi futuro profesional, laboral y familiar, es necesario trabajar arduamente para alcanzarlas.
De igual manera, considero que las metas y expectativas que afronto a diario son las encargadas de forjar con solidez mi entusiasmo frente a la incertidumbre con la que se presenta mi futuro. Es por esto que al realizar el curso premédico en la Universidad Javeriana, pretendo acercarme con bases sólidas a mi sueño profesional de ser Médico egresado de la PUJ. Desde un inicio, el programa de Medicina que presenta la universidad llamó mi atención debido a su amplio contenido programático, sus instalaciones, sus docentes y las excelentes referencias que manifiestan los alumnos que cursan sus estudios en esta universidad.
Finalmente, las expectativas que tengo en este momento se enfocan en aprobar el curso con un excelente desempeño académico que me permita lograr optar por un cupo en el segundo semestre del año 2018 en el programa de Medicina , lo anterior con el fin de lograr convertirme en una profesional del área de la salud que sea íntegra, responsable y autónoma ya que los Médicos de la Universidad Javeriana se destacan por entre otros mantener una actitud crítica fundamentada en una excelente formación y práctica científica que les permite analizar, comprender y contribuir a la resolución de problemas vinculados a la salud y actuar en forma eficaz y responsable junto con un sentido humanístico .

My name is Valentina Martínez Sánchez, in the year 2017 I graduated from Colegio Colombo Americano; I was in this institution since I started my first studies. I define myself as a happy, optimistic and dedicated person because I have always stressed the fact that in order to achieve the goals I have set for myself and in accordance with what I want for my professional, work and family future, it is necessary to work hard to achieve them .
In the same way, I consider that the goals and expectations that I face on a daily basis are those in charge of solidly forging my enthusiasm in the face of the uncertainty with which my future is presented. That is why when I take the pre-university course at the Javeriana University, I intend to approach with solid foundations my professional dream of being a Doctor graduated from the PUJ. From the beginning, the Medicine program presented by the university caught my attention due to its wide programmatic content, its facilities, its teachers and the excellent references shown by the students who study at this university.
Finally, the expectations that I have at this moment focus on approving the course with an excellent academic performance that allows me to achieve a quota in the second semester of the year 2018 in the Medicine program, the aforementioned in order to be able to become a professional of the health area that is integral, responsible and autonomous since the Doctors of the Javeriana University stand out among others to maintain a critical attitude based on an excellent formation and scientific practice that allows them to analyze, understand and contribute to the resolution of problems linked to health and act in an effective and responsible way together with a humanistic sense.
SOFÍA LERMA GARCÍA
ESPAÑOL:
Mi nombre es Sofía Lerma García, el año pasado me gradué del Colegio Colombo Americano, institución en la cual estuve toda mi vida escolar. Me considero disciplinada, madura, alguien que se comporta acorde a la situación, comprometida, y trabajadora. Reconozco que la pasión que siento por lo que hago se ha convertido en el motor de mis acciones, en este caso, de mi deseo por convertirme en médico. Mis intereses giran en torno a la salud y lo social. Éste surgió a partir de actividades de liderazgo juvenil como lo son el curso LVC (Líderes Visión Colombia) al cuál que ingresé como participante en el 2014 y como staff joven en el 2016, con el fin de convertirme en un tipo de guía o ejemplo para los participantes; de igual manera participé activamente en curso-talleres y el CPS (Colegios por Santafé de Bogotá) realizados por el Colegio San Bartolomé de La Merced, con el fin de fomentar mi gusto por las labores sociales. Por último, he participado varias veces en Modelos de Naciones Unidas, específicamente en la comisión OMS como el de la Universidad del Rosario en el 2015.
Con respecto a mi futuro, estoy trabajando arduamente para aprender las competencias que implican la formación en la carrera de Medicina y poder aplicarlo en mi vida profesional. Hacer parte del grupo premédico de la Facultad de Medicina de la Universidad Javeriana, es la manera en la cual puedo darme cuenta en cuál rama de la salud podría desempeñarme y aplicar no solo el conocimiento académico sino también hacer uso de mis habilidades sociales. Por lo anterior considero a la Universidad Javeriana ideal para poder fortalecer y definir mi proyecto de vida, no solo en el ámbito académico sino también en lo espiritual y social. La Universidad me permite como estudiante conocer diferentes facetas en el marco de una concepción integral de la salud.
Aspiro pasar el curso pre-médico y lograr entrar al programa de Medicina en el segundo semestre de este año, convertirme en una profesional íntegra egresada de la universidad, con las capacidades y habilidades suficientes para poder desempeñarme responsablemente con sentido humanístico y dentro de las normas éticas reconocidas en la profesión. Por último, considero que saber manejar dos idiomas (Español e Inglés) me facilita el estudio de la medicina debido a que el conocimiento que debe tener un médico no se centra en lo que la institución le enseña sino que es producto de la investigación y siendo el Inglés el lenguaje internacional, esto me representa una ventaja frente a los demás aspirantes.

My name is Sofía Lerma García, last year I graduated from Colegio Colombo Americano, institution in which I was all my school life. I consider myself disciplined, mature, someone who behaves according to the situation, committed, and hardworking. I recognize that the passion I feel for what I do has become the engine of my actions, in this case, of my desire to become a doctor. My interests revolve around health and the social. This arose from youth leadership activities such as the LVC course (Líderes Visión Colombia) which I joined as a participant in 2014 and as a young staff in 2016, in order to become a type of guide or example for participants; In the same way, I actively participated in course-workshops and the CPS (Colleges for Santafé de Bogotá) carried out by the San Bartolomé de La Merced School, in order to encourage my taste for social work. Finally, I have participated several times in United Nations Models, specifically in the WHO commission as the one of the Universidad del Rosario in 2015.
With respect to my future, I am working hard to learn the competences that involve training in the medical career and apply it in my professional life. Being part of the pre-medical group of the Faculty of Medicine of the Javeriana University, is the way in which I can realize in which branch of health I Could perform and apply not only academic knowledge but also make use of my social skills. For the above, I consider the Javeriana University ideal to be able to strengthen and define my life project, not only in the academic but also in the spiritual and social fields. The University allows me as a student to know different facets within the framework of an integral conception of health.
I aspire to pass the pre-medical course and get to enter the Medicine program in the second semester of this year, to become a full professional graduated from the university, with enough skills and abilities to be able to carry out responsibly with humanistic sense and within the norms recognized ethics in the profession. Finally, I believe that knowing how to handle two languages ​​(Spanish and English) makes it easier for me to study medicine because the knowledge that a doctor must have is not focused on what the institution teaches but it is the product of research and being English is the international language, this represents an advantage compared to other candidates.
CAROLINA MARTÍNEZ PINEDO
ESPAÑOL:
Mi nombre es Carolina Martínez Pinedo, nací en Santa Marta pero me crié en Cartagena. Resido en la ciudad de Bogotá desde inicio del presente año. Sufro de alergias y alergias del sistema inmune. Me gusta leer sobre el cuerpo humano y el hombre bajo distintas perspectivas.

Cursé mi primaria y secundaria en el Colegio Montessori, el cual siento que me dio las bases necesarias para poder mantenerme en el curso premédico de la Pontificia Universidad Javeriana. De igual manera, en este colegio, a los 5 años explotaron y ampliaron mi pasión por el arte, y como consecuencia, estudié en diferentes escuelas con el transcurso de los años. Posteriormente, descubrí la biología y mi pasión por ésta fue mayor que la que sentía por el arte, por lo cual mi desempeño en esta área, al igual que en arte siempre fue excelente.

Me considero una persona estudiosa y responsable, con infinitas ganas de ayudar a los demás, con capacidad para trabajar en equipo, con la coherencia y los valores éticos y morales que exige la profesión de Medicina. En mi tiempo libre, leo acerca del cuerpo humano y procuro comprenderlo desde el arte, con el fin de hacerlo más fácil y rápido de aprender. Así mismo, me llaman atención los animales y la naturaleza, dado que todos cumplimos un rol en ésta. Es por lo anterior que considero el hombre (que también es un animal) bastante importante, especialmente en el cuidado de su entorno y ¿qué mejor que estudiarlo a profundidad desde la Medicina?

My name is Carolina Martínez Pinedo, I was born in Santa Marta but I grew up in Cartagena. I live in the city of Bogotá since the beginning of this year. I suffer from allergies and allergies of the immune system. I like to read about the human body and man under different perspectives.

MARÍA CAMILA MARÍN BARBA

Me llamo María Camila Marín Barba, nací en Bogotá, Colombia. Vivo con mi familia, la cual me ha inculcado durante mi crecimiento, valores como la excelencia, superación personal y más que nada la honestidad. Me considero una persona que siempre tendrá como objetivo hacer las cosas bien; la excelencia no es opción, como tampoco ser responsable. Desde mi punto de vista el éxito está muy ligado con la superación personal, porque siempre me he dicho a mí misma que si uno no se lleva a los límites de su capacidad no va ser posible hacer más cosas, por tal motivo la superación personal es muy importante para mí, y me identifica. Soy persona sincera, con vocación al servicio, responsabilidad y liderazgo.
En mi vida cotidiana como en la académica, buscaré ser una profesional en el campo de la salud. Mi perfil se basa en que lo que he hecho en el pasado y en el cómo eso me sirve en el presente y lo que pondré en práctica en el futuro. Buscaré alcanzar lo que me he propuesto de forma honesta, con excelencia y superando todo aquello que se me dificulte. Por consiguiente, los valores éticos y morales que exige la profesión de Medicina serán mi meta y estaré dispuesta siempre a aprender, por tanto, me permiten analizar, comprender y constituir a la resolución de problemas vinculados a la salud en el ámbito en que actué, es por ello que actualmente curso el premédico y así espero poder entrar a la carrera formalmente en la Universidad Javeriana en Bogotá.

In my daily life as in the academic, I will seek to be a professional in the field of health. My profile is based on what I have done in the past and how it serves me in the present and what I will put into practice in the future. I will seek to achieve what I have proposed honestly, with excellence and overcoming everything that is difficult for me. Therefore, the ethical and moral values ​​demanded by the medical profession will be my goal and I will always be willing to learn, therefore, they allow me to analyze, understand and constitute the resolution of problems related to health in the area in which I acted, that is why I am currently studying the premedical course and thus I hope to enter the race formally at the Javeriana University in Bogotá.
